Have you always wanted to try watercolour but were too intimidated to try?
This is your chance to explore the nature of watercolour paints with no pressure. Experiment with different pigments, from the grainy to the transparent and the more opaque. Try different painting surfaces including hot press and cold press papers of various weights as well as the spontaneity of Yupo. There are many techniques to create texture with watercolour and we will be trying them all. Discover the power of white and negative space in a watercolour painting and how to attain it.
It’s fun, it’s portable, and you will wonder why you didn’t try it sooner.
