Double Talk

Double Talk was my first gallery show, in conjunction with artist and friend, Diane Wile-Brumm, at the Craig Gallery in Dartmouth, NS.

We were interested in ‘art speak’ and in how artists and galleries sometimes feel the need to write introductions to shows that are so abstract that they lose meaning for the casual viewer.

Each piece was accompanied by a dialogue between Diane and me, giving our reactions to the paintings, while trying to use language that everone could relate to.
