Route/Root

2017

I had collaborated with Diane Wile-Brumm and Shannon Bell in the past, and was delighted to be part of the Roots / Routes show at The West Side Bistro in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia.

I enjoy the play of words and imagery, to find my way into a work or series of works.

For this series of four acrylic paintings, I chose abstraction and a more intuitive approach, letting the texture of the paint and mark making set my direction.
